Launched in 2020, Pentacle PRODUCTIONS was born from the meeting of Gaëtan Trigot (former international sales representative at Mk2 and Celluloïd Dreams) and Baptiste Salvan (producer with experience at Prima Linea and Page 114). Pentacle Productions seeks to promote young filmmakers from diverse backgrounds and aims to transcend boundaries and genres. Without distinction between animation and live-action, documentary and fiction, short and feature films, the company produces and champions demanding works driven by unique voices, such as the feature film Les Survivants du Che by Christophe Dimitri Réveille, in the Official Selection – Special Screenings at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
Pentacle DISTRIBUTION is a label of Pentacle Productions and is dedicated to the distribution of short films, primarily animated. With more than 40 titles in its catalogue, more than 1,000 selections and around 100 awards in the most prestigious international festivals, Pentacle Distribution represents films as original as they are award-winning, such as Les Bottes de la nuit by Pierre-Luc Granjon (Cristal for Best Short Film at the Annecy Festival 2025), Sulaimani by Vinnie Ann Bose (Best Short Film at the Aspen Festival 2026) or Visite en terre irradiée by Anne-Sophie Girault (Critics’ Week – Cannes 2026).
